The API for woot can be used to build your own woot checking application. The simplest of application of the API would be to subscribe to a specific woot site with an RSS reader. More complex applications like the many woot checkers use the API as well.

The final URL isn't really an offical API, but is just the reader for the blog. It is included in the list for those who want to build an apllication that can also read woot blog posts. The woot names can be:
- www (for the main site)
- moofi - this shows the latest moofi deal published in the same format as the rest of the sites. With moofi there can be multiple active deals that run for days (weeks?). To get a list of all of the active moofi deals in RSS you can use the following query:http://deals.woot.com/deals.rss/search?q=store%3Amoofi.woot.com%20-is%3Aexpired&page=1&sort=mostrecent
- The unique URL for the moofi deal will be http://deals.woot.com/deals/go/ + the GUID of item in the RSS feed.
